RAPID CITY, S.D. – St Thomas More and Rapid City Stevens found themselves top atop the team leader after completion of nine-hole tournament Thursday at Meadowbrook.
The Cavaliers claimed the title by winning the tiebreaker on their fifth golfer. Both teams finished with a 184.
Spearfish came in third with a 240 and Sturgis placed fourth.
Winning the individual title was Freshman Rylan Horning of St Thomas More, who carded a 1-over-par 37. Tanna Phares of Stevens placed second and Lauren Knapp of Stevens was third.
For Sturgis, Lilly Heisinger came in eighth.
