RAPID CITY, S.D. – Great Plains Fire Dispatch reported a handful of fires Thursday — two of which were started by lightning.
One of those fires was reported east of Keystone. The Courtyard Fire was reported just before 4:00 p.m. 2 miles east of Keystone. It burned about four-tenths of an acre before being contained a couple of hours later.
Another lightning sparked fire around a tenth of an acre near Rockerville.
