RAPID CITY, S.D. – Great Plains Fire Dispatch reported a couple of fires that were being fought Sunday.
The Little Sheep Fire was the largest at 150 acres at last report. The fire was initially reported at 4:17 Sunday morning. It is located in Jackson County about 12 miles east of Kyle.
Another fire, the Wolf Fire, was reported in Fall River County, approximately 5 miles east of Edgemont. The fire, reported just after 2:00 p.m., was at 4 acres as of Sunday evening.
Another fire, reported northwest of Sundance, burned about a tenth of an acre and was reported out Sunday night.
