RAPID CITY, S.D. — The South Dakota Mines men’s basketball team fell on Saturday night on a heartbreaking play as Brevin Walter drove to the hoop, and connected on the shot, but was called for an offensive foul, causing the Hardrockers to lose, 82-80.
Alejandro Rama led the Hardrockers in scoring with 29 points.
Meanwhile, the South Dakota Mines Women’s Basketball squad played host to the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls Saturday afternoon at the King Center.
The Cowgirls defeated the Hardrockers 82-67.
Lauren Herman led the Hardrockers with 16 points.
