GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Hardrocker offense struggled in the first half to just 18 points, digging themselves a 21-point deficit which was too much to come back from as Colorado Mesa got the win 70-54.
Alejandro Rama and Kolton Mortensen each had 14 points to lead the Hardrockers.
The South Dakota Mines women’s team also fell to Colorado Mesa by the score of 89 to 55.
Madelyn Heiser led the Hardrockers with 13 points.
