Hereford, Shorthorn sales held at Stock Show Wednesday

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Shorthorn and Hereford Sales were held Wednesday at the Black Hills Stock Show.

At the Hereford sale, 42 lots sold, bringing in a total of $155,000.

There were 16 yearling bulls, 5 fall bulls, 6 two-year-old bulls, 12 registered heifers and 3 bred heifers.

The Shorthorn sale featured 10 lots with a grand total of $26,050.

There were 4 registered heifers, 3 bred heifers, 2 two-year-old bulls and one yearling bull.
