BROOKINGS, S.D. – In high school baseball Friday, Brookings prepared for next weekend’s regionals by rolling over Rapid City Central in a twin bill.
In game one, the Bobcats rolled to a 16-0 win in five innings. In game two, Brookings won 14-4.
In game one, Kyle Bauer led Brookings with 2 hits and his teammate Jake Aamann had 3 R.B.I. Brookings had 11 hits while Rapid City Central had just 3.
In game two, Ammann had 2 hits as did Bobcat Jackson Krogman. For Central, Jacob Mellum was 1 for 2 at the plate with a run while Riley Palmer added an R.B.I. double.
Central plays Harrisburg in twin bill on Saturday.
