PIERRE, S.D. – Mitchell swept the Pierre Invitational Tuesday in girls golf.
The Kernels won the team title with a low score of 320 followed by Aberdeen Central in second with a 333. Watertown placed fourth with a 336 and Rapid Cit Stevens was fourth.
Winning the individual title was Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink with a 70. Her teammate Maddie Childs was second with a 72 and Delilah Fuls of Brookings placed third with a 76.
Lily Heisinger of Sturgis finished in 11th place with an 83.
