RAPID CITY, S.D. – St Thomas More captured the team title of the Pre-Region 8A Golf Tournament at Meadowbrook Golf Course Tursday.
The Cavaliers finished with a 356 – beating Belle Fourche by 87 strokes.
Winning the individual competition was Rylan Horning of St Thomas More. The Cavalier Freshman carded a 7-over-79 to claim first place.
Hayden Thorton of Rapid City Christian was second and Kaitlyn Strain of St Thomas More was third.
In other golf action, Tanna Phares of Rapid City Stevens won the individual title of the Raider-Cobbler Invite at Elks Golf Course.
Phares finished with an 8-over-80 for the two day event.
Madelyn Brakke of Pierre placed second.
