Highway Patrol identifies person killed in Fall River County crash

OELRICHS, S.D. – An Olglala, S.D., woman has been identified as the person who died early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash north of Oelrichs.

A 2007 Buick LaCrosse was westbound on U.S. Highway 18 when the vehicle crossed the fog line and went onto the shoulder. The driver lost control and the vehicle went across the westbound lanes, into the median and tipped over.

Denise Brings Him Back, 49, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Brian Brings Him Back, 47 of Oglala, whose seatbelt use is under investigation, received minor injuries.

The driver has not yet been identified at this time.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
