LAWRENCE COUNTY, S.D. – The highway patrol has identified a Lyman, Nebraska man who was killed in an U.T.V. crash south of Cheyenne Crossing last Friday night.
The patrol says 35-year-old Terry Hill was killed after the U.T.V. he was in left the roadway, struck a tree and then rolled over down an embankment. The U.T.V. was inoperable at the time and was being towed by another U.T.V.
A passenger in the U.T.V. being towed, 26-year-old Nathaniel Hill of Laramie, Wyoming, received serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Neither person was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
