Highway Patrol seeks information on Sunday hit and run that caused accident

PIEDMONT, S.D. — The South Dakota Highway Patrol said Monday they are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run on Sunday.

The vehicle, described as a dark-colored SUV or pickup, hit a white Toyota which sent it rolling three times into a ditch.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol’s Facebook page, the accident occurred at 6 p.m. on I-90 near mile marker 46.
The two occupants were wearing their seatbelts and were treated on-scene by medical personnel for minor injuries.
The Patrol is asking that anyone with knowledge about the described vehicle or driver reach out to 605-394-2286.
