Hill City sweeps Lyman Raider Nation Invitational Cross Country Meet

UNDATED – The Hill City girls’ and boys’ cross country teams swept the team titles of the Lyman Raider Nation Invitational Cross Country Meet.

In the girls’ race, Hill City runners captured four of the top five spots with Abby Cutler finishing in first in a time of 19:38.75. Her teammate Nancy Falkenberg Brown finished in second and Jazzla Hutto was third. Jolie Dugan of Jones County was fourth.

Kade Watson of Winner won the boys’ race in a time of 16:57.75.

The next three spots went to Hill City runners, with Luke Rupert in second, Tate Grabow in third and Leighton Aves in fourth.

In other Cross Country action Saturday, Brandon Valley won the boys’ team title and Sioux Falls Christian won the girls’ team title of the Clyde Cotton Invitational in Huron.

Joseph Levesque of Sioux Falls Lincoln won the boys’ race and Morgan VanVeen of Aberdeen Central won the girls’ race.
