Hill City wins their semifinal consolation match

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Hill City Rangers rebounded Friday after their opening loss Thursday with a 3-1 set victory over Parkston in the consolation semifinal.

The Rangers won set 1 by the score of 25-14. Parkston came back and won set 25-15, but the Rangers won the next two sets 25-14, 25-12 to advance to the consolation championship Saturday.

Marie Pekosh had another great match for Hill City, tallying 10 kills and 3 aces.

Hill City will play Elkton-Lake Benton for the consolation championship Saturday.
