PIERRE, SD – The Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR) Rapid City Job Service is partnering with the City of Box Elder and the Ellsworth AFB Military & Family Readiness Center to host the Box Elder Career Expo.
As part of the Rapid City Job Service “Hire the Hills” campaign, this free recruiting and hiring event will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Box Elder Community Center, 420 Villa Drive in Box Elder.
Business partners for the Feb. 7 event will be from a variety of industries including construction, food service, healthcare, hospitality, local and federal government, and more.
This free hiring event focuses on supporting military members transitioning to civilian work, military spouses, and veterans in their career journeys. This event is also open to the public.
Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees.
