Hospitalizations decline in COVID-19 report for Thursday

PIERRE, SD – Hospitalizations declined for the second straight day in Thursday’s COVID-19 report – down to 107 today.

Newly confirmed cases are 100 with an additional 34 probable.

There were two additional deaths in Thursday’s report bringing the state-wide total to 1,956.

Across the Black Hills area, Pennington County reported 16 new cases and additional three as probable. There are a total of 153 active cases.

Meade, Fall River and Ogalala Counties report one new case each. Meade County has 21 active cases, Fall River has 11 and Ogalala reported 10 active cases.  Lawrence County reported four confirmed cases and 28 active cases,  Butte County recorded two new cases, and Custer County reported three new confirmed cases with 19 active cases
