Hot Springs wins girls Region 4A Golf Tournament

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Region 4A Girls Golf Tournament was held Tuesday at the Spearfish Canyon Golf Club.

The top three teams, along with the top 19 golfers, qualify for the State ‘A’ Tournament which is coming up June 7-8 in Spearfish.

Hot Springs repeated as the Region 4A champions. They finished on top of the team standings with a low score of 339. St Thomas More was second with a 411 and Custer was third.

Jessi Schroeder from Hot Springs was the medalist after carding an 85. Rylan Horning was second with a 90 and her teammate Emily Kandolin placed third with a 93.
