House fire injures 3 children, 1 adult in South Dakota

ALLEN, S.D. – A house fire has injured three children and an adult in southern South Dakota.

The fire broke out Thursday at a home in Allen.

The Martin Volunteer Fire Department tweeted that the three children were transferred to a Colorado burn center. The adult is at a hospital in Rapid City. Their conditions were not released.

Fire crews arrived to find the house in flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
