SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch and Casper Horseheads totaled 33 runs between them in a slugfest Wednesday night in Spearfish.
The Sasquatch fell behind early 8-2 to Casper, but then blew the game wide open in the sixth inning, scoring nine runs to take a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
Spearfish scored 14 runs in their last three trips to the plate and beat the Horseheads 16-12.
The two teams will move their series to Casper. First game up is Friday at 6:35 p.m.
