Free flu vaccination clinic announced

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Health is offering free flue vaccinations.

Set for Saturday, January 12, 2019, the clinic will run from 9a.m. to 1p.m. at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

Rapid City-Pennington County Emergency Management will administer the vaccinations on a first come, first served basis. It is open to anyone who has not had the flu shot this season.

A consent form must be completed for the flu shot. The form can be completed on site at the clinic, or for a minor, if a parent/guardian is unable to accompany their child to the clinic, the form can be completed and signed ahead of time. Download the form at www.pennco.org/pod.
