- February 4, 2019

Lora was born August 30, 1958, in McVille, ND, to Bernice (Trostad) and Samuel Samuelson.  Lora went to school in Warwick/Devils Lake, ND.  She was a cheerleader.  She graduated from high school in 1976.  She met the love of her life in 1976 in Devils Lake, ND.  Lora and Michael Crouch got married July 5, 1977.

On March 1, 1977, they welcomed their first child, Casey.  Lora and Michael moved to Lead, SD, in 1977.  Lora worked at a restaurant in Lead.  They welcomed their second child, Lonnie, in August 1980.  In May 1982, they welcomed their third child, Melissa.  In 1983, they moved to Sturgis, SD.  Lora stayed home to the raise the kids.  In 1987-ish, she started working at Boulder Canyon Restaurant in Sturgis.  She enjoyed all her local customers who became good friends and family.  When Boulder Canyon Restaurant closed, she worked at Ben Franklin in Rapid City.  Then she worked at Mountain West Millworks in Whitewood.  In 2002, she started working at Premier Bankcard in Spearfish, SD.  She worked as a customer service representative.  Lora loved working with her Premier Family.  She was heartbroken when Premier Bankcard closed in July 2011.  In March 2013, Lora started working at CBH Coop Travel Center in Belle Fourche.  Lora continued to work at CBH until the time of her passing away.

In 2015, Lora and Mike opened M & L ATV rentals in Lead, SD.  Lora enjoyed talking about the customer’s experience while out riding the ATVs.  She was very proud of their Haunted Halloween ATV ride for charities.  She hated the idea of the ATV business at first, but after the first few weekends she fell in love with the customers and memories it gave to the customers.  She really fell in the love with the business when the family took the ATV out to Orman and the kids and grandkids had a muddy, stinky mess.
