Individual and All Around winners crowned at State Gymnastics

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Individual and All Around winners were crowned as the South Dakota State Gymnastics tournament wrapped up Saturday in Aberdeen.

In Class AA, Kenzee Danielson of Harrisburg won the All Around title with a score of 38.6 points. Myah Morris of Watertown was second and her teammate, Brooke Bollinger, was third.

Individually, Payton Steffensen of Sioux Falls O’Gorman won the floor exercise, Danielson won the balance beam, Bollinger won the uneven bars, and Morris won the vault.

At the Class A Finals, three Deuel gymnasts claimed the top three spots. They were Paige Simon in first with 37.96, Rachel Blue in second and Morgan Kwasniewski in third.

Simon won the balance beam and vault and Blue won the floor exercise. Kwasniewski won the uneven bars.

The top placing West River gymnast was Rapid City Central’s Ciara Sieveke, who earned a pair of fifth place finishes in the balance beam and vault.
