RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Iron Fire, burning in the Black Elk wilderness, is now 100-percent contained.
The lightning sparked fire, located a mile southeast of Black Elk Peak, burned just over an acre.
A hard line has dug around the fire and mop-up operations are underway.
Trails and parking areas that were closed because of the fire were reopened on Monday.
