James A. Shevling, age 86 of Lead, died Saturday, August 19, 2023 at his home, with his loving family at his side.
The funeral service will be held 10am Friday August 25, 2023 at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche. Visitation will be held 5 to 7pm Thursday at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Interment will take place at Mount Pisgah Cemetery, in Gillette with military honors.

Jim is survived by his wife, Janet Shevling of Lead; son, Robert (Shelly) Shevling of Lead; daughters, Wanda (Tim) Fox of Gillette WY, Debi (Scott) Stearns of Gillette WY; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cindy Myers.
