RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police are investigating a break in that happened in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Around 3:30 a.m., an officer on patrol saw a group of juveniles approach and break the main entrance door of a business located on the 900 block of East North Street in Rapid City. The officer entered the parking lot and the juveniles ran in different directions.
After a foot pursuit, three of the juveniles were apprehended and taken into custody. The same business had been broken into the previous day and police are looking into if that incident was related.
RCPD cites extra patrol efforts being made and thanks the multiple responding officers for their quick action.
