Karen Kelley, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Gillette, WY, of natural causes.
Karen Kelley was born on December 9, 1966, the daughter of Judy (Golightly) and Glen “Tiny” Bell, Jr., in Great Falls, MT, where she lived until 1974, when the family moved to Gillette, WY. She graduated from Campbell County High School in 1986.Karen welcomed her first child, Triniti, in 1987. Karen married James Kelley in 1990, and together they welcomed two children, Trevor in 1990, and Tiffany in 1992. In her teen year, Karen proudly competed in gymnastics in the Special Olympics, earning numerous medals. Karen took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She would brag about her family to anyone who would listen. She loved her trash T.V. and would spend hours watching and discussing Real Housewives, and Gypsy Sisters, with her daughter. She loved going for walks, intricate coloring books, and perfecting her reading and writing skills.
Karen loved her children, grandchildren, sister, and extended family and we be sorrowfully missed by all.
Karen is survived by her estranged husband, James Kelley of Weatherford, TX; one son, Trevor Kelley, of Weatherford, TX; two daughters, Triniti (Jimmy) Thompson, of Gillette, WY, and Tiffany (Thomas) Kelley, of Weatherford, TX; sister, Melissa Bell, of Gillette, WY; twelve grandkids: Gaven Thompson, Olivia Thompson, Everly Thompson, Veronica Thompson, Jack Allinger, Madelyn Kelley, Hadlee Kelley, River Kelley, Kye Kelley, Victoria Brokaw, Ryan Brokaw, and Tessannee Brokaw; nieces: Breiann Bruns, and Jamie Bell; nephews: Will Bruns, Chris Bell, and Nick Bell; and several great nieces and nephews.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Judith Bell, brother, Gordon Bell, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Cremation has taken place and graveside services at Mount Pisgah in Gillette, WY, at a later date.
