CUSTER, S.D. – Lane Krautschun of Belle Fourche won the boys race at the Eldon Knudson Invitational Cross County meet Thursday in Custer.
Krautschun won in a time of 17:08.53. Ty Petrocco of Sturgis was second and his teammate Quinn Bruch finished in third.
Winning the girls race was Rarity Cournoyer of Red Cloud, finishing in a time of 20:31.86. Brit Wheeler of Custer placed second and Iris Zylstra of Sturgis was third.
Sturgis won the girls team title with Custer in second. Custer won the boys team title with Sturgis placing second.
