HERMOSA, S.D. – A severe thunderstorm brought two inch hail and gusty winds to the Hermosa area Saturday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Rapid City received reports of a mobile home being blown over near Hermosa and fire dispatch reported a power line line down. Large hail was also reported in the Hermosa area, causing some reported damage to cars and homes.
In the Rockerville area, there was golf ball sized hail reported and there was hail covering the roads.
Other hail reports came in from Sundance, where some golf ball size hail was reported, and in Spearfish Canyon, where heavy hail was reported at the Latchstring.
