DEADWOOD, S.D. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office says a missing UTV rider has been found.
In a Facebook post late Saturday afternoon, authorities said Autumn Carrico of Lead had been successfully located and had been reunited with her family.
Officials did not say how Carrico was found or the circumstances leading to them to her.
Carrico was reported missing on Friday after leaving home on a UTV ride by herself.
Authorities were called when she failed to return home.

DEADWOOD, S.D. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a U.T.V. rider who went missing Friday.
Officials say they were notified of a missing U.T.V. rider in the area west of Lead.
The rider, identified as Autumn Carrico of Lead, rode from her home on a red 2025 Honda TRX520 with the intent of riding in the area between Maitland Road and Terry Peak.
When Autumn did not return home, her family began looking for her and called the sheriff’s office for assistance.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Lawrence County Search and Rescue and Spearfish Search and Rescue began a search.
The search was assisted by the South Dakota Highway Patrol with the use of drones and the Lead and Deadwood Police Departments.
Authorities say Autumn was believed to be riding alone and the search for her continues Saturday.
