RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 320 took one of two games played with Watertown on Friday in legion baseball.
In game one, Watertown Post 17 used 8 runs in the fourth inning to propel them to an 11 to 5 win.
The Stars had a 5-0 lead before Post 17 took the lead for good in the fourth.
Lane Darrow had 3 hits to help the Stars while Kale Stevenson had 3 R.B.I. to lead Watertown.
In the second game, Post 320 scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out an 8-7 victory.
Peyton Ness and James Rogers each had 3 R.B.I. for the Stars. Hayden Leighty got the pitching win for Post 320. Jerod Cyrus took the pitching loss for Watertown, despite the fact he had 9 strikeouts.
