Legion Baseball Roundup – Sturgis drops final two games at Lewis and Clark Tourney

UNDATED – In legion baseball over the weekend, the Sturgis Titans returned home dropping two games on Saturday to wrap up play at the Lewis and Clark Tournament in Yankton.

The Titans dropped their first game of the day to Yankton by the score of 6 to 4. Sturgis also lost 21 to 7 to Blair Post 154.

In other legion  action, Post 22 got a pair of wins Sunday at Fitzgerald.

The Hardhats won their first game of the day over Casper Post 2 as Alex Dietrich hit an R.B.I. double that scored the winning run from Harrison Good in a 9-8 victory.

In game two, Post 22 edged Pierre 9 to 8.

Rapid City Post 320 dropped a 8-inning affair to Mandan. Mandan walked off the Stars in the bottom of the extra inning on a two out, one run single by Brayden Bunnell that scored Lucas Burgom.

And, Spearfish Post 164 lost two games Sunday in their bracket of the Lewis and Clark Tournament in Vermillion.

Spearfish got shut out by Renner 11 to 0 and they dropped an 8 to 2 matchup with Brandon Valley.
