RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Post 22 baseball team hosted Gallatin Valley, Montana Tuesday night.
The Hardhats got off to a fast start scoring three runs in the first inning and shut down Gallatin Valley the rest of the way to pick up the 3-0 victory.
Hayden Holec picked up the win for Post 22, giving up a pair of hits and no runs over three innings pitched. He struck out three and walked none.
Wilson Kieffer led the Hardhats offensively, going 2-3 at the plate. Holec, Alex Dietrich and Harrison Good each drove in one run for Post 22.
In other legion action Tuesday, the Rapid City Post 320 Stars dropped a pair of games to Winner/Colome legion.
In game one, the Stars lost 15-12 and in game 2, Winner/Colome won by the score of 5-2.
