UNDATED – In legion baseball action Wednesday, Spearfish Post 164 played a twin-bill in Wheatland, where the Spartans got the sweep.
In game 1, Spearfish held on for a 10-6 win. They trailed 6-3 in the game heading into the seventh inning, where they scored seven runs on six hits to take the game.
In game 2, Spearfish scored four runs in the final inning to get a 10-8 win.
Elsewhere, Post 320 edged Aberdeen 9 to 8 in extra innings.
Noah Popken singled to left, scoring Jace Wetzler to give the Stars the win in the 10th inning.
And, Pierre Post 8 defeated the Post 22 Hardhats 3-0 Wednesday night.
Pierre had 11 hits while the Hardhats struggled with just four.
