UNDATED – In legion baseball action Wednesday, the Sturgis Titans dropped a pair of games in Chamberlain.
The Titans lost to Sioux Falls East 11-4 in their first game of they day. They followed that up with a 6-0 loss to Sioux Falls West.
In the East game, Connor Cruickshank went 3 for 4 at the plate with a run and an RBI to lead Sturgis at the dish. Evan Stroud finished the contest 2 for 4. Against West, Kain Peters and Aidan Wood both went 3 for 3 at the plate to lead Sturgis.
Spearfish Post 164 was also in Chamberlain playing Sioux Falls East and West. Post 164 dropped their game to East by the score of 11-1 and lost to West 10-2.
Rapid City Post 320 rolled Pierre Post 8 in a twin bill on Wednesday at Hyde Stadium in the state’s capital.
The Stars bested the Eights 16-2 in Game 1 and capitalized on the momentum in Game 2 to grab an 18-5 win, their third-straight victory of the season.
And Rapid City Post 22 dropped both games of a doubleheader to Brandon Valley.
Brandon Valley escaped with a 4-3 win in game one followed by a 1-0 win in game 2.
