STURGIS, S.D. – For the second year in a row, a young lemonade stand entrepreneur has raised some big bucks for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Wyatt Dennis of Piedmont runs a lemonade stand during the annual motorcycle rally, and while he offers up free lemonade to the thirsty bikers, they in turn, leave lots of donations.
Wyatt has wanted to give back as a show of thanks for those donations.
During Musicfest in Sturgis on Saturday, Wyatt presented a $21,000 check to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Veteran Broadcaster and current General Manager of the Riverfront Broadcasting Stations in Rapid City Jim Kallas was the liasion for St. Jude’s and accepted the check on their behalf.
Kallas says he was honored and proud of Wyatt’s generosity.
“I again was honored to represent St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to accept a check from this incredible young man. He represents everything today’s world needs right now.”
