UNDATED – Sioux Falls Lincoln and Sioux Falls O’Gorman found themselves tied at the top of the leader board for the state Class AA Golf title Tuesday. In a two hole playoff, O’Gorman won the team title.
Both the Patriots and Knights scored 604 for the two day tourney.
Watertown finished in third with a 619 and Harrisburg was fourth.
The top placing West River team was Spearfish in tenth. Rapid City Stevens placed eleventh.
Winning the individual title was Jake Olson of Watertown with a two day score of 142. Luke Honner of Lincoln was second with a 145 and Radley Mauney of O’Gorman placed third with a 148.
Top placing West River athlete was Jackson Swartz with Rapid City Stevens, tied for fourth with Bennett Garaets of Lincoln.
At the State A Golf Tourney, Tea Area won the team title with a two day score of 669. West Central came in second with a 674. Vermillion was third with Aberdeen Roncalli in fourth.
Top placing West River team was St Thomas More in sixth.
Kaleb Jost of Sioux Falls Christian won the individual title with a score of 155.
Mason Carrels of Aberdeen Roncalli was second with a 157 and Eric Munson of Tea Area was third with a 158.
Top placing West River athlete was Vincent Van Liere of St Thomas More with a 160. He was tied for fifth place with Keeton Newborg of Tea Area.
