Linda Taylor

Linda Taylor, 68, of Belle Fourche died at her home in Belle Fourche on May 14, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born September 25, 1955 in Belle Fourche to Marvin Sr. and Lucy Oster. She graduated from Fruitdale High School in 1973. She worked in housekeeping for 8 years and was a stay at home, mom.

Linda married Rodney Taylor on October 19, 1974 and to this union 5 children were born. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, spending time with her grandchildren and children and watching the grandkids play sports, going to Spearfish Sasquatch baseball games. She loved going to Colorado to spend time with her family. She enjoyed going to Deadwood when she could to play her favorite slot machines. She enjoyed face timing her grandchildren and her favorite places to eat were the Milestone and McDonalds.

Grateful for sharing her life is her husband, Rodney; her mother, Lucy Oster, her daughters, Dawn Samples and Trudy (Jamie) Sexton all of Belle Fourche and Anna (Jeremiah) Yanzick of Spearfish; her son, Christopher (Haley) Taylor of Colorado; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her brother, Danny (Dee) Oster of Colorado; her sisters, Doris (Chucky) Isenberg of Belle Fourche and Rosemary (Dave) Abbott of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews and adopted son, Brandon Nikodym of Belle Fourche.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Oster Sr.; brother, Marvin Oster Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Taylor; son-in-law, Terry Samples Sr and adopted daughter, Terri Wilson.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 am at Kline Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche.
