RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Harney All-Stars got a big win Sunday as the defeated Pierre/Capital City 13-6 to punch their ticket to the South Dakota Little League State Championship game Monday.
The All Stars have earned a rematch with Sioux Falls.
Harney scored one run in the second, five in the third, and seven runs in the fifth.
Brock Wauer has 4 hits and 2 R.B.I. to help lead the All Stars.
Capital City/Pierre punched their ticket to Sunday’s game vs Harney after eliminating Timberline on Saturday 11-8.
Harney will need to win two games Monday night against Sioux Falls to earn a berth in the regional tournament in Indianapolis.
The first game Monday night is set for 5 p.m.
