Local artist Jessica Loobey releases country album

STURGIS, S.D. – Just released is country music artist Jessica Loobey’s second album Double or Nothin’. Recorded earlier this year in Nashville with some of today’s top studio and road musicians, Loobey is excited to offer new songs for fans.

“The album’s sound is inspired by Little Big Town and Lainey Wilson. The songs reflect my real life as I have evolved as a writer and singer – experiences, relationship changes …. It’s a career and emotion-based album. Fans should find it very relatable with something for everyone,” Loobey says. Ten songs make the show list on the album reaching from the honky tonk style to the more country heartache ballads.

She adds the album’s title, Double or Nothin’ represents where she is now in her musical career. “I’m either all in or all out,” Loobey says. And she has reason to be all in as she was recently nominated as a 2024 Midwest Country Music Organization New Artist of the Year nominee.

Double or Nothin’ is currently available on streaming services and physical CDs are available by contacting the Jessica Loobey website, JessicaLoobey.com.

Her first album, “Three Chords and The Truth”recorded at Saxman Studies in Nashville, TN, performed well, garnering 160,000 streams (110,000 on Spotify) in 88 countries.
