STURGIS, S.D. – A few months back, Arts SD announced a project that would put the work of South Dakota artists on billboards across the state. They asked artists to submit their work and then chose among all the offerings which to display.
Local western artist Kat Thompson was one of those artists, and her work has been chosen to go up on a billboard early next week. The Sturgis Area Arts Council says “We here at the Sturgis Area Arts Council are so excited for her and happy to have sponsored her in this project!”

Kat’s work is scheduled to go up on her billboard (just outside of Sturgis on Boulder Canyon Road) on February 12.
