RAPID CITY, SD – A ranch that has been continuously operated by one family since 1956 is up for sale.
The Selador Ranch comprises 4,277 acres. Over 1,500 acres of the ranch are southwest of Rapid City and borders the Red Rock Golf Club. Other parcels include a 1,000 acre tract located north of I-90 and includes both Box Elder and Blackhawk Creek. Another 1,600 acre parcel is located in southern Meade County.
According to Bob Borgmeyer, president of Selador Ranches, the family has operated the ranch since the mid-1950s. His mother Myrtle Irene Huwe Borgmeyer, originally from Meadow, SD, arrived in Rapid City in 193 where she married Henry John Borgmeyer. A physician, he was with the Estes Civilian Conservation Corp camp in 1934.
Property representatives say the three parcels are strategically located and offer regional or national developer opportunities.
The property is listed at $44,995,000.
