RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police arrested a man for allegedly threatening others with a firearm.
Police apprehended 20-year-old Channing Littlewhiteman of Rapid City in the area of Ash Avenue and E. Saint Patrick Street.
Police say witnesses reported the man was threatening others with a firearm in the 1700 block of E. Tallent Street.
Authorities located a firearm in a yard of a resident on E. Saint Patrick and a serial number on the firearm had been filed off. Witnesses say Littlewhiteman pointed the gun at several people before firing it into the air.
Littlewhiteman was facing several charges, including reckless discharge of a firearm and commission of a felony with a firearm.
