Man charged with manslaughter given 20 year prison sentence

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of a 19-year old.

Jason Sharp was originally charged with second degree murder but pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter in March.

He was charged in the death of Ocean Eberlein, who was shot to death following an argument with Sharp in November of 2020.
