RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man arrested earlier this month on child pornography charges made a court appearance Monday.
Javier Clark Moreno entered a plea of not guilty to Receipt of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.
If convicted, Moreno could face up to 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
Moreno, a former captain at Salvation Army of the Black Hills, was arrested May 13 after law enforcement executed a search warrant that revealed child pornography linked to an account tied to Moreno.
