RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man who stabbed his younger brother to death last year, was sentenced Friday.
James Ladeaux, Sr., 55, was sentenced to ten years in prison with three years suspended and credit for 311 days served.
In December, Ladeaux pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter, a crime punishable up to 10 years in prison, a $20,000 fine or both.
He was originally charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement.
