RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Vice President of Medical Affairs at Monument says a COVID vaccinaton mandate for staff is more than likely on the way.
Dr. Shankar Kurra says COVID admissions at the hospital have doubled, a factor in making the decision.
Doctor Kurra says more than 99% of current COVID patients at the Rapid City hospital are unvaccinated.
Sanford Health has already required its employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
