RAPID CITY, S.D. – After a preseason win last weekend, the Rapid City Marshals stumbled out of the gate in their regular season opener Saturday night.
The Marshals saw the Iowa Rampage jump out to a 26 point lead and never look back en-route to a 58-28 win.
Rapid City didn’t score until late in the second quarter as Jack Sheehan found Breon Michel in the back of the endzone for a three-yard touchdown.
The Marshals will take to the road next weekend as they take on the Washington Wolfpack on Sunday.
