STURGIS, S.D. – The Meade 46-1 School Board met for their September meeting Monday night and got the unofficial fall enrollment numbers.
The unofficial preliminary fall enrollment count was taken on Thursday, September 5.
The unofficial preliminary numbers show 3,033 students in K through 12 for the fall of 2024. Ten students are in out of district placement and 3,043 students are estimated for funding.
The official fall enrollment is taken as of the last Friday in September.
Also at Monday’s meeting, a study session was set for Monday, September 30 at 5:30. The session will cover results of the priorities and feedback from South Dakota Districts on who they have used as well as review letters of intent with the city of Sturgis.
