OPAL, S.D. – On Monday, May 20, 2024, work is scheduled to begin on Pine Creek Road over Pine Creek and Whitetail Drive over Beaver Dam Creek in Meade County.
The project includes replacement of bridges with box culverts.
Temporary diversion roads will be built to guide traffic around the construction sites. A reduced speed limit of 20 mph will be posted through the work zone diversion.
The prime contractor on this project is Heavy Constructors from Rapid City, SD. The overall completion date for the project is Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
