Meth bust in rural South Dakota community

MISSION, S.D. — A methamphetamine distribution operation was discovered at a residence west of Mission during a drug bust on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

According to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, agents found nearly 35 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, transportation packaging and an illegal, altered shotgun with the serial number removed.

⌊ Sentences Handed Down For Large Scale Meth Ring ⌋

Three people have been arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of a modified firearm.

The names of those arrested were not available.
